...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO NOON AKST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions and poor
  visibility, with the heaviest snow occurring during the morning
  commute on Thursday. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches,
  with localized amounts up to 10 inches, are expected.

* WHERE...Matanuska Valley.

* WHEN...3 AM to noon Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...New snow accumulations in the Talkeetna
  Mountains including the Hatcher Pass area will be between 14 
  and 18 inches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

.TONIGHT...A chance of snow in the evening, then snow after
midnight. Snow accumulation 1 to 3 inches. Lows in the 20s. Light
winds.
.THURSDAY...Snow in the morning, then scattered snow showers in
the afternoon. Snow may be heavy at times in the morning. Snow
accumulation 3 to 6 inches. Highs in the upper 20s to mid 30s.
Light winds.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming
partly cloudy. Isolated snow showers. Lows 15 to 20. variable wind
to 10 mph.
.FRIDAY...Mostly sunny. Highs in the 20s. Light winds.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Snow likely after midnight. Lows 10 to 15 above.
Light winds.
