...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS
EVENING TO NOON AKST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 
  inches are expected. Over summits, winds gusting to 40 mph 
  will cause blowing snow and low visibility at times.

* WHERE...Upper Koyukuk Valley.

* WHEN...6 PM today to noon Friday. Snow will start this 
  evening. Winds and blowing snow will occur Thursday night and 
  Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Look for reduced visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. The latest road

NOON AKST FRIDAY...
.TONIGHT...Snow. Areas of freezing fog. Snow accumulation of 2 to
3 inches. A chance of light freezing rain. Ice accumulation less
than one tenth of an inch. Lows in the lower 20s. Light winds.
.THURSDAY...Snow and a chance of light freezing rain. Areas of 
fog and freezing fog. Snow accumulation around 2 inches. Ice
accumulation less than one tenth of an inch. Blowing snow on
summits. Highs in the upper 20s to mid 30s. West winds to 10 mph 
to 20 mph gusting to 40 mph on summits.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Areas of freezing fog in the evening. Cloudy
with a chance of snow. Blowing snow on summits. Lows 2 to 7 
above. West winds 10 to 20 mph gusting to 40 mph on summits.
.FRIDAY...Cloudy. A slight chance of snow in the morning. Blowing
snow on summits. Highs in the lower teens. Southwest winds 5 to 
15 mph gusting to 40 mph on summits.
